VaultiQ privacy policy.

VaultiQ respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in the VaultiQ app.
1. Information VaultiQ may store
VaultiQ is intended for private notes, important documents and personal vault items. Information you add to the app is used to provide the vault features you choose to use.
If VaultiQ offers account login, cloud backup or sync, your account details and synced vault data may be stored securely so those features can work. If you use local-only storage, your vault content remains on your device unless you choose to back it up or export it.
2. Permissions used by VaultiQ
VaultiQ may request permissions only when they are needed for app features:
- Storage or files: To import, save, export or restore vault files.
- Camera: To scan cards directly from your device camera when you choose the scan card option.
- Photos or gallery: To upload an existing card image, document image or photo to your vault when you choose gallery upload.
- Internet: For login, cloud backup, sync, app updates or support requests.
- Notifications: To show security reminders or account alerts, if you enable them.
3. How VaultiQ uses data
- To provide secure vault, note, document and personal storage features.
- To support optional backup, restore and cross-device sync features.
- To improve reliability through crash reports or limited diagnostics, where applicable.
- We do not sell VaultiQ personal data to advertisers.
4. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect VaultiQ data from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should keep device locks, passwords and recovery details protected.
5. Your choices
- You can delete vault items from inside the VaultiQ app.
- You can deny or revoke camera, photos and file permissions from your device settings. If camera permission is disabled, camera-based card scanning will not work, but you may still use supported non-camera features such as gallery upload where available.
- You can request account and cloud data deletion using the Delete Account option or by email.
6. Children's privacy
VaultiQ is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Policy updates
We may update the VaultiQ privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and on this website with an updated effective date.
