SnapTrackr Privacy Policy
SnapTrackr privacy policy.
Effective date: April 28, 2026
SnapTrackr respects your privacy. This policy explains how SnapTrackr handles information when you use the app to capture GPS stamped photos, organize field records and export reports.
1. Information SnapTrackr may access or store
With your permission, SnapTrackr may access your camera so you can capture photos for field documentation. Photos you capture may include stamped details such as date, time, location, address, coordinates, project name, notes and other stamp fields you choose to show.
With your permission, SnapTrackr may access location information, including GPS coordinates, accuracy, address information from reverse geocoding and related map context. This information is used to create reliable location proof for your own records.
SnapTrackr may store project details, captured photo records, stamp templates, settings, export preferences and report drafts locally on your device so the app can work offline and keep your workflow available.
2. Permissions used by SnapTrackr
SnapTrackr may request permissions only when they are needed for app features:
- Camera: To capture photos and create stamped image records.
- Location: To add GPS coordinates, address details and map context to your captures.
- Photos, media or storage: To save captured images, read selected images, generate exports and support sharing on compatible Android versions.
- Internet and network access: To support map tiles, address lookup, weather estimates, app updates or support features when available.
3. How SnapTrackr uses data
- To capture photos with visible location, time and project stamps.
- To organize field records by project, favorite status, date and other app views.
- To generate PDF reports and shareable field documentation when you choose to export them.
- To save your app settings, theme choices, stamp templates and privacy preferences.
- We do not sell SnapTrackr photo, project or location data to advertisers.
4. Local storage and sharing
SnapTrackr is designed as a local-first app. Captured records and app settings are stored on your device unless you choose to share, export, back up or otherwise move them outside the app. When you share a stamped photo or PDF report, that content is handled by the destination app or service you select.
5. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect SnapTrackr data from unauthorized access, misuse or disclosure. No device, storage method or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should keep your device lock, backups and shared files protected.
6. Your choices
- You can deny or revoke camera, location, media and storage permissions from your device settings.
- You can delete photo records, project records and app data from inside the app where those controls are available.
- You can choose which stamped photos or PDF reports to share or export.
- You can contact us for privacy questions or support requests.
7. Children's privacy
SnapTrackr is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Policy updates
We may update the SnapTrackr privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and on this website with an updated effective date.
